摘要

Abstract

Asynchronous FIFO are widely used in modern real-time lossless compression system of down hole acoustic wave data to resolve the problem of the asynchronous clock domain synchronization among the modules. In order to improve system efficiency while saving the hardware resources, the selection of FIFO depth becomes more prominent. Asynchronous FIFO model based on the random service system theory is proposed. In combination with a Hash bucket probability distribution characteristic of compression systems, the depth of asynchronous FIFO was cauculated to provides theoretical support for time sequence design of real-time hardware compression system.
