Abstract
On history of the study of Historical Records, there are lots of options about why Sima Qian wrote this book. Some people think Sima Qian wrote this book to fulfill his father’ s last wish, while others think he just recorded history honestly. In addi⁃tion, some researcher say Sima Qian wrote Historical Records to release emotions or“create a philosophy of one’ s own”. Some peo⁃ple even think he just wrote this book to defame the Han dynasty. To a certain extent, these options are correct but they can’ t reflect all contents of it correctly. On this subject, we should consider Historical Records as a whole and be honest to combine with Sima Qian’ s whole life.关键词
