Abstract
TheYingqiongbasinpossessesabundantnaturalgasresources;nevertheless,exceptforafewlargegasfieldswhichhaveal-readybeenputintoproduction,theexplorationextentthereisratherlow.Asthedrillholesareinsufficientinthisbasinit'sverydiffi-culttounderstandthelongitudinalandhorizontalvariationtrendsofthevelocity.Besides,theworkofvelocitycalibrationoftenencoun-tersremarkableerrors,whichcausesdifficultyindrillholeemployment.Thereexistmainlytwodifficultproblems:oneistheexistence ofconsiderableerrorbetweenthepredicteddepthandthedrillingdepthwhenthetime-depthrelationshipofthesurroundingdrilledwell isadopted;theotheristheexistenceofratherlargedeviationbetweentheVSPcalibrationvelocityofDFIPOwellinDongfangdiapiric areaoftheYingqiongbasinandtheregionalvelocity.Aimedatsolvingthesetwodifficultproblems,theauthorsconductedmethodologi-calstudyandputforwardeffectivetrainofthoughtandmeans,thusimprovingtheaccuracyofvelocitypredictioninthestudyarea.关键词
