摘要

Abstract

The commonly used frequency bands in troposcatter communications include L, S, C, X and Ku band. In view of the choice of frequency band in troposcatter communications, analysis is made on transmission loss for 5 frequency ranges. According to different application scenes, the calculation method described in ITU⁃617 is used to make troposcatter loss simulation at different frequencies and different communication distances.The result indicates that in the situation of short⁃distance where the transmission loss is small,the C or X or Ku band is good for device miniaturization,while in the situation of long⁃distance where the transmission loss is high,the L or S band is appropriate choice which can make troposcatter communications at long distance more practical.
