Abstract
It has been revealed by the previous researches that the medical disputes caused by non -medical factors and pure service factors,which are largely due to doctors′lack of communication skills,occupy a certain proportion of all medial disputes.This paper interprets the process of meaning construction of medical euphemism,as well as analyses the functions of medical euphemism in the ease of doctor -patient contradictions through the combination of the four subnets of the conceptual integration network and exemplification.The significant impact of medical euphemism in the ease of doctor -patient contradictions,which mainly reflects in avoiding taboo words,politeness,conveying the positive emo-tions,and hiding the indecent content,has been proved.关键词
