摘要

Abstract

A planar ultra⁃wideband(UWB)antenna with microstrip feed was designed. And on the basis of the UWB antenna, the U⁃shaped parasitic element is added on the side of the microtrip feeder to obtain the band⁃notched function for the 3 notched bands. The overall dimension for the proposed antenna is 23 mm× 13 mm × 0.508 mm. Rogers RT/duroid 5880 is taken as a substrate in the system. The antenna is easy to build and integrate. Simulated and Measured results confirm that the proposed antenna forms three trapped wave bands at 3.25~3.6 GHz,5.1~5.9 GHz and 9.5~9.9 GHz,and is suitable for UWB applications.
