宫颈鳞癌中Eps8、E-cadherin和Ⅴimentin的表达及其意义
Expression and clinical significance of Eps8, E-cadherin and Vimentin in cervical squa-mous cell carcinoma

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expressions of Eps8,E-cadherin andⅤimentin protein in human cervical squamous cell carcinoma, low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion ( LSⅠL) ,high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion( HSⅠL) and normal cervical tissues,and ex-plore the relationship between their expression and clinicopathologic parameters and the progno-sis. Methods:The expressions of Eps8,E-cadherin andⅤimentin protein in 59 samples of cervi-cal cancer,23 samples of LSⅠL,28 samples of HSⅠL and 12 samples of normal cervical tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry ( SP method) . And their relationship with clinicopatho-logical characteristics of cervical squamous cell cancer were analyzed. Results:(1)The expres-sion of Eps8 andⅤimentin in normal cervical tissues,squamous intraepithelial lesion( including LSⅠL and HSⅠL) and cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues were statistically significant ( P<0 . 05 ) . The expression of E-cadherin in normal cervical tissues and squamous intraepithelial le-sion ( including LSⅠL and HSⅠL ) were significantly higher than that in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues (P<0. 05). (2)Ⅰn 59 samples of cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues, there was a significant negative correlation between expressions of E-cadherin and Eps8 ( r=-0. 323,P<0. 05),as well as between expression of E-cadherin and Ⅴimentin (r=-0. 368,P<0. 05). The expression of Eps8 was positively related to that ofⅤimentin (r=0. 539,P<0. 01). (3) The expression of Eps8 in squamous cell carcinoma tissues was significantly related to tumor FⅠGO stage, differentiation degree, depth of infiltration and lymph node metastasis ( P<0 . 05 ) . There was a statistically significant difference between the groups of different depth of infiltration and lymph node metastasis in the expression of E-cadherin andⅤimentin(P<0. 05). Conclusions:The high expression of Eps8 in cervical squamous cell carcinoma is correlated with clinicopathological characteristics,Eps8 expression is correlated with E-cadherin andⅤim-entin expression,which indicates that Eps8 may promote development of cervical squamous cell carcinoma by regulating EMT.关键词
