Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of 3%hypertonic saline combined with terbutaline sulfate aerosol in-halation in treating bronchiolitis. Methods 89 children patients aged 3 months to 2 years old with bronchiolitis in our hospital from March 2010 to March 2011 were randomly assigned to the treatment group(45 cases) and the control group(44 cases). The two groups received the same routine therapy. On this basis the treatment group was given 3%hypertonic saline combined with terbutaline sulfate aerosol inhalation,while the control group was given normal saline combined with terbutaline sulfate aerosol inhalation. The curative effects,duration of symptoms and signs,and hospitalization time were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.3%(42/45),which was higher than 77.3%(34/44) in the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);the disappearance time of symp-toms and signs and hospitalization time in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group with statistical differ ence between the two groups(P<0.05 or 0.01). Conclusion 3%hypertonie saline combined with terbutaline sulfate aerosol inhala-tion is significantly superior to normal saline combined with terbutaline sulfate aerosol inhalation in treating bronchiolitis and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.关键词
