Photoluminescence Properties of Containing Mn Natural Calcite at Low Temperature
摘要
Abstract
A luminous mineral without any treatment characterized by Electron probe, ICP spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction(XRD) ;Then the Emitting mechanism as well as the Photoluminescence emission spectra at room temperature and low temperature were studied.The results showed that this is a natural mineral calcite.Under 255nm excitation the orange-red fluorescence lied near 642nm are due to 4 T2g→6 A1g transition of Mn2+.Wavelength lied near 522nm resulted from the character transition of 4 T1 g→6 A1g of Mn2+ion.As the temperature decreases the fluo-rescence intensity at 522nm emission sharply increased, but the increase of 642nm is not rapidly than 522nm, when as close to room temperature the fluorescence peak wavelength of 522nm to flatten.关键词
