Abstract
For traffic accidents, the experts of forensic medicine need to comprehensively think over the factors of concerned people, vehicles, scenes and the others so as to find out truth and make correct authentication. Here, we demonstrate three typical cases of motorcycle fatal accidents to illustrate, in view of forensic pathology, key points about inferring the mode of injury and/or trauma, analyzing the cause of death and identifying the role of driver. To infer the mode of injury and/or trauma, the knowledge in disciplines of forensic medicine, marks and traffic engineering is required with the help of real pattern of the accident to get veracious discovery. Sometimes software like PC-Crash, CARAT and MADYMO can play its effect in assisting the investigators. Although systematic autopsy is essential to find out the cause of death, other aspects including disease, drugs and alcohols should be taken into consideration. For identification of the role of driver, not only should the body be examined comprehensively but also the shape and positions of the injuries and/or traumas be inspected, and not mere the common injuries but the unique and unusual ones as well.关键词
