翻译伦理关照下的杨宪益译 Pygmalion研究
Studies on YANG Xianyi’s Translating Pygmalion from the Perspective of Translation Ethics
摘要
Abstract
George Bernard Shaw, the father of British modern play the greatest playwright after Shakespeare , wrote more than 50 plays, one of which Pygmalion.Mr.YANG Xianyi published his translations of Pygmalion in 1956, 1982, 1987 and 2002 respectively, which arouse the interests of the English language learners as well as the translation researchers .The paper tries to study all YANG’s four translations from the perspective of Andrew Chesterman ’s five models of translation ethics , in order to make clear Yang how to tackle these translation ethics issues, which in turn may provide inspirations for the further studies on YANG ’s translation practice.关键词
