Health management of metabolic syndrome in children and adolescents
摘要
Abstract
In recent years,the incidence of metabolic syndrome (MS)has been con-stantly increasing in children and adolescents.The MS children can be accompanied by differ-ent metabolic abnormalities including abnormal glucose tolerance,dyslipidemia and hyperten-sion,etc,which severely affect the growth,development and quality of life in the affected chil-dren.Previous research revealed that the incidence of MS during childhood was closely correla-ted with the status of MS during adulthood.This article mainly highlights the definition and di-agnostic criteria of MS in children and adolescents,concept and progress of health management at home and abroad,and forecasts the prospect of health management of MS children and ado-lescents.关键词
