Abstract
In LTE network construction, small cell can be introduced to be the supplement and extension of macro base station. However, the improper deployment of small cell would have a negative impact on overall network performance due to interference. After building testing environment in typical scenarios, the impact of small cell on LTE network coverage quality under LTE macro-micro collaborative networking architecture was investigated in depth and corresponding solution was discussed. Test results demonstrate that small cell can effectively enhances overall network coverage quality, but local coverage performance deteriorates due to the interference in some regions. Therefore, the planning and deployment of small cell should be accurate to mitigate the adverse effect to network coverage quality.关键词
