Abstract
Objective To explore an effective detection procedure for flexible ureteroscope to facilitate the minimal flaws in flexible ureteroscope and thus to be repaired in time, so as to prolong the durability of flexible ureteroscope. Methods A three-times detection procedure management for flexible ureteroscope was devised, the flexible ureteroscope was detected in a two-man way at three time points (i.e. after operation, before cleaning, before sterilization). Fault reasons, service time, the number of cases before repair, as well as the satisfaction of medical staff were compared as primary outcomes. Results After the application of three-times detection procedure, the service time before complete repair increased to 20.0%,71.4%and 136.7%, respectively. The number of operation before complete repair increased, the service time was prolonged, and the satisfaction of medical staff was improved, all the difference was statistical (P<0.05). Conclusions The three-times detection procedure of flexible ureteroscope can effectively facilitate the minimal flaws in flexible ureteroscope and thus to be repaired in time, decrease the cost, prolong the durability of flexible ureteroscope, and increase the efficiency.关键词
