Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of singulair combined with small dose of azithromycin in the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome. Methods 60 cases of patients with upper airway cough syndrome in the outpatient department of our hospital from February 1, 2014 to January 1, 2015 were selected in this study. 30 patients treated with small dose of azithromycin were set as control group, and 30 patients treated with singulair combined with small dose of azithromycin were set as experimental group. The clinical effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results After therapy, the cough rating score of the experimental group was (0.81 ± 0.33) points, significantly better than (1.56 ± 0.72) points of the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.33%, significantly higher than 73.33%of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Singulair combined with small dose of azithromycin has significant efficacy in the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome, which can effectively improve the symptoms of cough and deserve clinical application.关键词
