Abstract
Wool fabric was treated with H2O2/plamsa/chitosan. The contact angle, K/S value and dyeing up-take of wool fabric before and after treatment were measured to analyze the influence of treatment on wetta-bility and dyeability of wool fabric. The changes in surface morphology and chemical composition of wool fab-ric before and after treatment were analyzed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray Photoelec-tron Spectroscopy (XPS). The effects of different treatments were compared. The results showed that the pre-treatment of H2O2 and plasma could destroy the scales on wool fiber surface resulting in the rougher sur-face. The polar groups on wool fiber surface increased after plasma treatment. Al these could contribute to the chitosan deposition on wool fiber surface. The H2O2/plamsa/chitosan treatment greatly improved the wetta-bility and dyeability of wool fabric. The finishing effect was the best when H2O2/plamsa pre-treatment and the chitosan with middle molecular weight was used.关键词
