Abstract
Alkyl diphenyl oxide disulfonates (C12ADPOS, C14ADPOS and C16ADPOS) were synthesized us-ing fatty alcohols, diphenyl oxide and oleum as raw materials through alkylation-sulfonation-neutralization. The sulfonation product was analyzed using HPLC. Surface tension, emulsification and foam performance of AD-POS were determined. Critical micel e concentration (cmc) of C12ADPOS, C14ADPOS and C16ADPOS was 2.16 × 10-4, 5.98 × 10-5 and 6.84 × 10-5 mol/L, respectively. Surface tension of C12ADPOS, C14ADPOS and C16ADPOS at cmc was 37.3, 36.3 and 34.8 mN/m, respectively. Foam and emulsification performance of ADPOS increased first, and then decreased with increasing the carbon chain.关键词
