Abstract
Objective: To understand the current status of disinfection and hygiene in the childcare institutions of five urban areas in Chengdu, and provide a scientific basis for the work of disinfection and control of infectious diseases. Methods: A combination of questionnaire survey and site inspection was used to investigate the situation of disinfection and hygiene in the childcare institutions of five urban areas in Chengdu. Results:There were 3 childcare institutions rated as Level A, 4 childcare institutions rated as Level B, 2 childcare institutions rated as Level C , and 1 childcare institution without rating. Of al the childcare institutions, indoor air was disinfected by a combination of natural ventilation and ultraviolet radiation; common surface disinfection was done with chlorine disinfectant; dinnerware were boiled, soaked in disinfectant or heated by far-infrared disinfection to be sterilized . Povidone-iodine and alcohol were the main disinfectant in the 10 childcare institutions health center, of which 3 childcare institutions' disinfectant were not valid, 6 childcare institutions' thermometer were not disinfected, and 1 childcare institution' s disinfection method of spatula was not correct. Mops for floor cleaning between the bathroom, classrooms and dormitory were used Separately in the 10 childcare institutions, but three of these institutions had no clear identification of mops. Conclusion:Specialized health centers, child care staf were of ered, and disinfection health systems were developed in al 10 childcare institutions. However, there stil existed some problems such as disinfection technology was not standardized, method of disinfection was incorrect, disinfection records and reagents was unqualified, and so on, which needed to pay more at ention to promptly improve.关键词
