摘要
Abstract
Pancreatic cancer has a dismal prognosis because of the low rate of early detection of pancreatic cancer. Finding cancer-specific symptoms associated with early-stage pancreatic cancer is a feasible way to improve early detection of pancreatic cancer. Various evidences suggest that new-onset diabetes is caused by pancreatic cancer because of both insulin resistance and β-cel dysfunction in pancreatic cancer. Recognition of new-onset diabetes as an early manifestation of pancreatic cancer could lead to the diagnosis of asymptomatic, early-stage pancreatic cancer.关键词
