Abstract
Objective: To explore the application and nursing of femoral vein catheterization in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: From January 2012 to January 2013, 52 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients were recruited to accept femoral vein catheterization at department of Radiation Oncology, Cancer Hospital of Guangxi Medical University. The condition of patients and the catheter related complications were daily observed and recorded by researchers. Results: The mean time of the lasting time of catheterization was 7 days. During catheterization, cataclysm occurred in 2 cases. Complications such as catheter site infections, venous thrombosis, and hematoma did not happened for al participants. Al catheter was bacterial fostering negative. Conclusion: Femoral vein catheter is a economic, safe and feasible method for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and it is worthy of application.关键词
