Abstract
Objective To understand and analyze the distribution of pathogenic bacteria in sputum samples, and its antibiotic resistance. Methods Sputum cultures were performed using qualified sputum samples from patients in Nanjing Zhongda Hospital Southeast University from June 1st 2012 to May 30th 2013, along with the examination of bacteria strains and their drug resistance testing. Results Within a total of 1292 pathogenic bacteria strains, Gram-negative bacil i accounted for 90.71%, and they were mainly A.baumanni , K.pneumoniae, and P.aeruginosa. Gram-positive cocci accounted for 9.29%, with 120 strains of S.aureus. Gram-negative bacil i showed over 50%resistance to Ampicil in, first and second generation Cephalosporin. It was quite sensitive to Cefepime and Amikacin. A.baumanni showed its multidrug resistance, with a rather high sensitivity to Levofloxacin only. Gram-positive cocci had 100% sensitivity to Vancomycin, Linezolid and Quinupristin. Conclusion Sputum samples consisted mainly of Gram-negative bacil i. Dif erent pathogenic bacteria showed big dif erences between antibiotic resistances. Hospital should enhance examination for pathogen and drug resistance in disease of respiratory system and advocate the proper use of antibiotic drugs.关键词
