Effect of Appointment Service for Infusion in the Infusion Room

摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the optimizated ef ection of appointment service in outpatient and emergency infusion room. Methods Outpatient needed more than 2 days of continuously infusion were chronological y divided into the control group( n=1600 ) with routine process of infusion and the observation group ( n=1550 ) with appointment service of infusion. Two Indexs of the time to wait ing for infusion and patient satisfaction were observed in both of the two groups. Results The time to waiting for infusion was ( 33.8+9.6) min in control group and (13.9+3.7) min in observed,comparing the two groups, the dif erence was statistical y significant (P< 0.01 ). Patient satisfaction in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion The implementation of appointment service can ef ectively shorten the time to waiting for infusion for outpatient, divert ing reasonably outpatient to avoid the concentration during the peak period, but also indirectly reduce the work stress of nurses, improving the ef iciency and quality of service.关键词
