Abstract
Objective Through detecting the expression of Cortactin in gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST)tissues to disscuss the relationship between the expression and clinicopathological feature and provide theoretical basis to predict the potentiality of invasion and metastasis of the tumor.Methods ①The expression of Cortactin in 42 cases of GIST tissues and 10 cases of normal gastric tissues were detected by immunohistochemical ELIVISION two-step method. ② The relation of the expression level of Cortactin and the invasion degree of tumor was compared in GIST. The immunohistochemical results were statistical y analyzed by the software of SPSS17.0.Results The expression of Cortactin in GIST was significantly higher than that in normal gastric tissues ( <0.001), The result was of statistical significance. The expression rate and intensity of Cortactin was significantly correlated to the pathological mitotic figures,invasion and metastasis,high NIH stage of GIST. The upregulated expression of Cortactin had positive cor elation with clinical NIH stage of GIST, that is to say the more advanced clinical NIH stage cor esponding to the higher expression level of Cortactin ( <0.01). Conclusion The abnormal expression level of Cortactin may be related to invasion and metastasis of GIST,it may be an important biomarker for predicting and evaluating the malignant potentiality and progression of GIST, hopeful y providing a new target for clinical treatment.关键词
