Abstract
Objective To compare the ef icacies of the treatments of procaine continued with bronchial arterial embolization and purely bronchial arterial embolizationin on elderly patients with massive hemoptysis. Methods Sixty -three elderly patients with massive hemoptysis were divided into two groups randomly. Twenty-seven patients were treated by procaine continued with bronchial arterial embolization and the other 36 by purely bronchial arterial embolization. The curative rates,mortality,complications,relapsing rates and expenses were observed. Results The curative rate of procaine continued with bronchial arterial embolization was 96.30%,in which simple application of procaine was 55.56%. The curative rate of purely bronchial arterial embolization was 94.44%,The curative rates, mortality,complications and relapsing rates were no dif erence by comparison ( >0.05) . However, the cost of treatment was significantly dif erence ( <0.05). Conclusion Procaine continued with bronchial artery embolization was a massive hemoptysis clinical use prefer ed drug program, and the cost of treatment significantly decreased.关键词
