Abstract
Objective To investigate the application methods and ef orts of Deming in the control of elderly hypertension in the community. Methods Select according the convenience sampling method of the 86 elderly patients with hypertension in our hospital in Qing yang District in Chengdu. Divided them into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method (n=43). The two groups were both treated with home antihypertensive drugs, and the observation group was also treated with Deming cycle. Then compared with the control of pressure, treatment compliance and complications of the two groups. Results The blood pressure control in the observation group was bet er than that in the control group and the compliance was bet er than the control group. There was statistical significance because of the dif erences of significant in two groups of comparison ( <0.01). The number of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group ( <0.05).Conclusion By using Deming cycle to control the hypertension in the elderly community could reduce the blood pressure of patients significantly, improve the treatment compliance of patients, reduce the complications and improve the quality of life in elderly hypertensive patients in community.关键词
