Survey on Oral English Learning Burnout of Non-English Undergraduates in Normal Universities and Its Implications

摘要

Abstract

Learning burnout, as a negative factor, has negative influences on the learners’ study. Students in normal universities would be teachers in the future. So it’s of great importance to decrease their learning burnout. This paper does a survey on the o-ral English learning burnout among non-English undergraduates in normal universities, and finds that learning burnout does exist among them; sophomores get a higher score in every dimension and the whole questionnaire; what’s more, there are significant differences in terms of general learning burnout, improper behavior and reduced personal accomplishment. In terms of gender, boys get a higher score in every dimension; these differences are significant except reduced personal accomplishment. And then this paper analyses the reasons and provides some suggestions.
