Modeling and Analysis of Switching Frequency Circulating Currents in Parallel Inverter Systems

Abstract
There are circulating currents among the parallel inverters, including dc, fundamental and switching frequency circulating currents. Analysis and suppression methods currently proposed primarily focus on dc and fundamental circulating currents. However, the relationship between the switching frequency circulating current and circuit parameters has not been analyzed quantitatively so far. Based on the switching process of devices, a mathematical model of switching frequency circulating currents generated by asynchronous switching states is proposed in this paper. Moreover, the quantitative relationships between the switching frequency circulating current and the circuit parameters are investigated and analyzed in detail. Based on the analytical results, favorable design guidelines to restrain the switching frequency circulating currents are further presented. The experimental results perfectly validate the accuracy of the proposed mathematical model and the effectiveness of the design guidelines.关键词
