Abstract
The Water Transfer Project in Northern Hubei Province is proposed to resolve water resources shortage in this area. Integrating surface water and ground water, this project rationalizes and optimizes water resources al ocation. This paper introduces the methods of the conceptualization and design of the water resource al ocation model. Due to the long distance of the water division route and the low water head differences along the route, the project is designed with limited water division quantity and limited scale of division canal to satisfy the primary water demand. Three catalogs of reservoirs are proposed including local supplementary regulation reservoirs, accumulated reservoirs, and bidirectional regulation reservoirs. In addition, the accumulation coefficient and supplement coefficient are optimized. This study provides reference value to long distance water division projects.关键词
