Deliberation on the future development of Chinese seaman's book and associated recommendations
摘要
Abstract
Learning from the experience on implementing the Convention on Seafarers'Identity Documents, 2003 and the measures for improving the identity documents, the paper suggests improving the existing seaman's book and improving the safety and verification efficiency of China's seaman's book through applying common international standards and employing such modern technology as biological recognition, digital signature, non-contact chips, aiming at continuously ensuring the applicability and universal utility of seaman's book.关键词
