摘要
Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study was to find a way to solve the problem of restorations on the non-parallel implants. Method: Twenty-two patients were rehabilitated with fixed prostheses that were supported by 79 CDIC or Repalce system implants in maxillary posterior region. There were serious inconsistencies in three-dimensional axial of those implants. By using of custom-made abutments to correct non-parallel angle of the implants, the multiple coincident paths of insertion for splinted crowns or fixed bridges were obtained. Results: 1-5 years follow-up, no implant was lost and all restorations were in good functional status. Conclusion: The present preliminary data indicated that using custom-made abutments was a viable treatment modality for splinted restoration on the non-parallel Implants.关键词
