The relationship between telomere-telomerase and aging development

Abstract
Aging is a complex control process of multiple factors , involving alterations of DNA damage , DNA methylation , the change of telomere ’ s length and cellular oxidation .In recent years , a lot of theories have been proposed to explain the aging process , and the telomere hypothesis of cellular senescence is becoming one of hot spots .We has known cellular aging is the basis of the or-gan aging or the boby aging , however , cellular senescence is caused by the gradual shortening of telomere length and the change of it’s structure in the process of cell division.The structures and functions of telomere-telomerase or the research progress of the rela-tionship between telomerase and aging are reviewed , which will manifest important theoretic and practical significance in antiaging .关键词
