摘要

Abstract

In order to effectively prevent deforestation and enhance forest regulation and promote Chinese agroforestry modernization process, the authors investigated the ways to put GIS system into this field from three aspects:the purpose of system construction, design framework and application. The results showed that using GIS system for forest regulation was feasible and efficient. With the premise of sufficient data, the system’s DEM and remote sensing image could reflect the forest terrain accurately, in order to make the visualization possible. Vector map’s each layer could provide information, such as regional vegetation coverage, road traffic, river systems, residential information, elevation, etc. The system could measure the basic geographical environment of forest region with the three-dimensional modeling function; and also put the information of terrain and the spatial information together with multimedia data, to ensure the efficient use of data. GIS system applied to forest regulation could improve the efficiency of forest regulation and promote the value of forest data.
