Abstract
Objective To investigate the health demand of community elders, explore the relation among different items of demand and analyze the common characters of different items of demand, in order to provide scientific references for the health management, health evaluation and health intervention of community elders. Methods From March to June, 2011, using multi-stage sampling method, we enrolled 642 community elders and conducted questionnaire survey on them. The content of the survey included the general information and health demand of community elders, and cluster analysis was undertaken on the 39 items of health demand. Results We distributed 642 questionnaire and recovered 611 questionnaire, with an effective returning rate of 95. 2%. The health demand rates of community elders for various health services were between 1. 3% -69. 7%, and the three services with the highest rates were regular physical examination ( 69. 7%, 426/611 ) , daytime care center ( 67. 4%, 412/611), the establishment of community household first -aid calling system (66. 1%, 404/611) . The health demand of community seniors was divided into three categories: basic demand (24 items), health education (13 items) and first-aid (2 items) . Conclusion Community elders have different health demands for various services, and there are similarities among health demand items. Classified management should be carried out, so as to improve the efficiency of health intervention and the health level of community elders.关键词
