摘要

Abstract

In order to identify thePhytophthora capsici stress induced genes of pepper, a double-hybrid cDNA library ofPhytophthora capsici infected pepper leaves was constructed using SMART technology. The results showed that the cDNA library contained 3.6×106 independent clones, and the recombination rate was 88%. Insert fragments ranged from 300 bp to 2 000 bp, and the average length of the library was about 800 bp. These data demonstrate that the library is qualified, and able to provide important genetic resources for molecular breeding.
