Sex Ratio, Longevity and Effect of Cold Storage on Emergence of Spalangia endius, a Parasitoid Wasp of Bactrocera dorsalis
摘要
Abstract
Adult sex ratio, longevity and effect of cold storage on emergence of Spalangia endius, a parasitoid wasp of Bactrocera dorsalis were studied on the conditions of (26±2) ℃, RH (70±10)% and photoperiod of 14L:10D. Adult sex ratio was 2.15:1 (female:male), longevity was about 10.3 d, survival curve fitted with the basic model of type I, of which value c was 3.4637. The optimum cold storage temperature was 5—10 ℃ for 5—10 d after parasiting B. dorsalis. At the optimum conditions, emergence rate of adults was between 40%—50%, which were not significantly different from that of the control treatment.关键词
