Analysis of genetic diversity in national listed tobacco varieties using SSR fluorescent marker data

Abstract
Genetic diversity of 63 flue-cured and 8 burley tobacco varieties in China’s national list were analyzed using capillary electrophoresis with fluorescent detection technology. 36 pairs of SSR primers were selected to amplify which generated 205 DNA bands with highly polymorphic. Dice genetic similarity coefficient, calculated by NTSYS-pc2.10e software, ranged from 0.223 to 0.924, with an average of 0.658. It was concluded that genetic basis of present cultivated varieties in China was narrow resulting in poor genetic diversity.关键词
