Abstract
Objective:To investigate the significance of changes of serum IL-8 and IL-10 levels in the development of type 2 diabetic nephrosis. Method:The diabetic patients fell into three groups.Serum IL-8 and IL-10 levels were measured in type 2 diabetic patients and controls.Result:Serum levels of IL-8 and IL-10 were significantly higher in type 2 diabetes patients than those in controls and they increased in different stages of DN patients. There were positive correlations of serum IL-8,IL-10 with the concentration of Cr and UAER.Conclusion:Determination of serum IL-8 and IL-10 levels might be helpful for detection of diabetic nephropathy and monitoring the progress of the disease process.关键词
