Abstract
Objective:To compare the adverse reactions incidence and clinical safety of methimazole and propylthiouracil in the treatment of thyroid function hyperfunction.Method:36 cases of patients of our hospital with hyperthyroidism were retrospectively analyzed which were divided into methimazole treatment group (MMI group) and propylthiouracil treatment group (PTU group) randomly. Clinical and prognosis adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared.Result:The incidence of white cells decrease, red blood cells, thrombocytopenia and skin rashes of MMI group after treatment were 22.2%, 11.1%, 5.6%, and 16.7%, which were significantly higher than PTU group (5.6%, 0, 0, 5.6%) (P<0.05). The total rate of ALT, ALP, TBIL and DBIL abnormal were 5.6%, which were significantly lower than PTU group(27.8%)(P< 0.05).Conclusion:Different drugs have different side effects in the treatment of hyperthyroidism thyroid function. MMI has a higher rate to cause hematologic complications and skin rash while PTU has more possibility to damage the liver fuctions.关键词
