Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Yunnan Baiyao capsule after extraction of wisdom teeth. Method:Choose 48 patients with bilateral horizontally impacted mandibular third molars,after one side wisdom tooth being pulled off,conventional eat metronidazole and amoxicillin;after the other side a wisdom tooth being extracted,in addition to metronidazole and amoxicillin plus,used Yunnan Baiyao capsule. Contrasted both sides of the postoperative reaction. Result:After 24 hours,there were 18 patients with local swelling subsided in Yunnan Baiyao group,3 patients in control group,there was significant difference(P<0.01);After 72 hours,there were 41 patients with local swelling subsided in Yunnan Baiyao group,33 patients in control group,there was significant difference(P<0.05);After 7 days,Yunnan Baiyao group local swelling subsided to 48 patients,42 people in control group.there was no significant difference between the two groups of curative effect. Conclusion:Patients treated with Yunnan Baiyao capsule can reduce the postoperative reaction after extraction of impacted tooth.关键词
