The mechanism of microRNA in the pathology of coronary atherosclerosis
摘要
Abstract
Small, noncoding microRNAs have emerged as key mediators of posttranscriptional gene silencing in the pathology of coronary atherosclerosis. The microRNAs play an important role in the etiology and pathophysiology of coronary atherosclerosis through modulating the functions and morphology of related cells, such as endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, macrophages and monocytes, by regulating lipid metabolism, chronic inflammation and the accumulation and activation of platelets. Researches in the mechanisms of coronary atherosclerosis regulation of microRNAs can not only provide a new era in disease research, but also provide basic knowledge for the development of novel therapies for coronary atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular disease.关键词
