Abstract
Objective: To summarize and analyze the effect of mechanical ventilation via face mask in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure. Methods:One hundred cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure patients were selected as the research object, randomly divided into observation group and control group with 50 cases in each group, the control group were treated with mechanical ventilation treatment, the observation group were treated with face mask mechanical ventilation therapy, efficacy. Results: After ventilation in the treatment of patients, difference of PaO2, PaCo2, HR and RR were statistically significant; the patients in observation group ventilation time, hospitalization time, trachea intubation rate and a mortality rate was significantly lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: Mechanical ventilation via face mask has the good application effect in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure, can significantly improve prognosis, decrease endotracheal intubation rate and mortality.关键词
