Abstract
Objective To analyze and compare the diagnostic value of B-ultrasound and palpation for the supraclavicular lymph node metastasis of lung cancer and explore its clinical applicability. Methods Sixty-three patients with primary lung cancer treated in our hospital from June 2011 to September 2012 received B-ultrasound and palpation examination in the supraclavicular lymph node respectively. The difference between the two diagnostic methods in diagnosing lymph node enlargement was analyzed. Results Of the 63 patients with primary lung cancer,B-ultrasound diagnosed 27 patients with lymph node enlargement and palpation diagnosed 13 patients,of which the 27 patients diagnosed by B-ultrasound had a confirmed diagnosis of supraclavicular lymph node metastase. The sensitivity of B-ultrasound and palpation to the supraclavicular lymph node metastasis of lung cancer was 1.00 and 0.48 respectively, with statistically significant difference between the two diagnostic methods (P<0.05). Conclusion B-ultrasound is simpler and more sensitive than palpation in the detection of the supraclavicular lymph node metastasis of lung cancer, thereby worthy long-term clinical promotion and application.关键词
