Abstract
Objective To research and explore the impact of nursing interventions on improvement of the quality of life of patients with enterostomy. Methods 40 cases of rectal carcinoma patients with enterostomy were divided into experimental and control groups randomly. The experimental group was received a follow-up nursing intervention by telephone interview when 1month and 3 month after discharge from hospital. The patients in control group were conducted routine nursing care. Both groups were asked to complete a questionare of EORTC QLQ-C30 during their recertification in outpatient clinic. The EORTC QLQ-C30 (Chinese version) can be used to measure quality of life of cancer patients for its good reliability, validity and responsiveness. Data was collected and analyzed by statistics. Results The EORTC QLQ-C30 and the intervention group had statistically significant difference (P<0.05) between before and after the implementation of the entire nursing intervention on. Conclusion Nursing intervention can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with enterostomy.关键词
