Abstract
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of Xueshuantong in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and its influence on serum von Wilebrand Factor (vWF) level. Methods 84 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly into control group of 42 cases and drug-treated group of 42 cases. All patients received the same treatment, such as diutetics and cytidine diphosphate choline. While different with control group, the patients in drug-treated group were treated with Xueshuantong in addition. Then we analyzed prospectively the therapeutic effect of Xueshuantong and its influence on serum vWF. Results The therapeutic efficacy of drug-treated group was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.01); the difference in serum vWF concentration between two groups was significant (P<0.01). Conclusion Xueshuantong can efficiently improve the symptoms of patients with acute cerebral infarction and down-regulated the serum vWF level.关键词
