Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of small incision discectomy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods 113 patients with lumbar disc herniation were selected in our hospital from January 2010 to March 2012,and divided into two groups according to treatment methods.47 patients accepted conservative treatment as control group,66 patients accepted small incision discectomy treatment as observation group.The clinical effect,recurrence, complication were analyzed between the two groups during 1 year of follow-up after treatment. Results The excellent and good rate in observation group (98.5%) was significantly higher than that in control group (72.3%).Recurrence rate in observation group (1.5%) was significantly lower than that in control group (23.4%),with significant differences (P < 0.05).There was no serious complication during treatment between the two groups. Conclusion Small incision discectomy is an effective method in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, which can significantly improve prognosis of patients.关键词
