Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effects of different procedures used to treat unexpected gall-bladder carcinomas(UGC)found in laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC). Methods Retrospectively review of the clini⁃cal data of patients with gall-bladder carcinoma accidentally found in LC was done, comparing the therapeutic effects among different procedures when UGC was found. Results During 7 years, 1205 LC were performed in Tianjin Wuqing People's Hospital, and 10 patients were confirmed as gall-bladder carcinoma in postoperative pathological research, of which 6 were T1, 3 were detected with submucosa invasion(T2), 1 was unfortunately found cancer cells in serosa(T3). In 4 patients extending radical resection was performed in the other 6 patients LC was performed. Six patients with T1 are still alive now without recurrence, 1 with T2 is staging lived without recurrence, 1 with T2 died of carcinoma recurrence, another one with T2 died of primary lung cancer after gall-bladder resection. 1 with T3 died of .hepatic metastases. Conclusion For patients with Tis or T1a stagin⁃gUGC, LC is an adeguate procedure of treatment. For patients with stage above T2, redical resection should be performed.关键词
