Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes of serum brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), D-dimer (D-D), C-reactive protein (CRP) and myocardial enzymes levels in elderly patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated with pulmonary embolism (PE). Methods The serum levels of BNP, D-D, CRP and myocardial enzymes were measured in 20 COPD patients complicated with PE (COPD group) and 22 CHD patients complicated with PE (CHD group). Results There were no differences in serum levels of BNP, D-D, CRP and myocardial enzymes between COPD and CHD groups (P >0.05). Conclusion There is no difference in diagnostic indicators for PE between elderly COPD patients and CHD patients.关键词
