Abstract
Objective To study the expression of Her-2 protein in gastric cancer tissues and its clinicopathological significance. Meth-ods The ElivisionTM plus immunohistochemical staining method was applied to detect the Her2 protein expressions of specimens from 280 gastric cancer patients. Analyzed the relationship between the test results, follow-up data and clinical pathological parameters of the pa-tients. Results The positive expression of Her-2 was mainly involved in the cell membrane, and had obvious heterogeneity. Within the 280 cases of cancer tissues, the expression rate of Her-2 (IHC+++) was 12.38%, and the expression rate of Her-2 (IHC++) was 5.79%. Her-2 had no expression in adjacent normal gastric tissues. Her-2 positive expression had no relationship with the patient’s gender, age, tumor lo-cation, infiltrating depth and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05), but had significant relationship with tissue type, differentiation degree, tumor stage and distant metastasis (P<0.05). Conclusion Her-2 protein detection was closely correlated with the biological behavior and progno-sis of gastric cancer. Therefore, it may become the future research perspective on targeted therapy.关键词
