Abstract
The effects of titanium potassium whiskers in composite friction material of brakes on braking noise reduction were studied by improving the material formula under the condition that the wear-resistance ability of the composite friction material was guaranteed. Changing brake temperature from 100°C~350 °C, it was found that with the increase of titanium potassium whiskers ingredient in the material, the sound pressure level of the noise decreases, and the noise fluctuation occurs mainly in low temperature range and high temperature range. Through the analysis of the SEM morphology, it was found that the friction morphology characteristics and noise generation and changes are in consistency, and the samples with more morphology defects have higher sound pressure levels of noise.关键词
