Analysis of Uncertainty Propagation in Floating Raft System Using FRF-based Substructuring Method

摘要

Abstract

The FRF-based substructuring method was used for vibration transmission prediction and uncertainty propa-gation analysis in a floating raft system. The effects of various commonly encountered uncertainties of substructure FRFs, such as measurement noise, reciprocity violation, negative imaginary part of the FRFs at the origin, on the modeling results were investigated. The effects of uncertainty propagation and amplification on the FRF’s result were analyzed. The uncer-tainty propagation was quantitatively analyzed using the moment method. The result was compared with that from Monte Carlo method. It shows that the moment method is of higher efficiency and accuracy.
